LGSTome vs BinderPOS
BinderPOS is a Shopify-based point of sale and inventory system for game stores, now sold by TCGplayer. LGSTome is inventory-first software that publishes one stock list to Shopify, Mana Pool and eBay. They overlap on Shopify inventory and diverge everywhere else. Here is the comparison, with sources.
The short version
- BinderPOS lists at $100 or $150 a month plus a 2% commission on website sales and 2.5% on TCGplayer sales, and requires an active Shopify subscription. LGSTome starts free, tops out at $139 and charges no commission.
- BinderPOS includes a point of sale, kiosk mode, store credit and an events module. LGSTome has none of those; it is built for the inventory, pricing, publishing and order side of a card business.
- At the time of writing TCGplayer’s BinderPOS page says new seller onboarding is paused and asks prospects to register interest. LGSTome accepts signups.

Where BinderPOS is the better choice
- A full point of sale with kiosk mode, store credit, events and individual staff profiles for a brick-and-mortar shop.
- Direct TCGplayer marketplace integration (USA) with a reduced TCGplayer commission for BinderPOS users, per TCGplayer’s blog.
- Sealed product database and catalog management alongside singles.
Where LGSTome is the better choice
- No commission on any sale, and the free plan works without a Shopify store (paid plans are billed through Shopify).
- Mana Pool as a native selling channel, which BinderPOS does not list.
- eBay on every paid plan rather than only on the $150 tier, with labels and refunds handled in the same inbox.
- Riftbound and One Piece support, which BinderPOS’s page does not list.
- Self-serve setup in minutes rather than the two to four week start-up TCGplayer quotes.
